We all know that the follow-up in dealerships can always be better, and many of the sales staff are just living on the fresh ups.

Today’s follow-up calls the customers pick them up only 10% and the Millennial’s don’t even answer the phone and when you leave a message, they reply with a text message at first attempt. The SMS Texting the customer pick it up on average at 3-minutes 97% of the time.

While mobile engagement is higher than ever and proven more effective it is still new to many using it. The open rates are amazing and AutoCSI will get the feedback needed to get that customer back in. 81% of customers prefer using texting to a phone call and 78% will give us feedback.

The average customer only walks into and shops at 2 stores. That is why is so important to act quickly and with the best tool!

Create a plan to get that customer back in the door. A text shows the customer you care for them and appreciate the opportunity they gave you for coming in. Also, it lets them know that you are open to comments to improve and to help their drams come true to get that new vehicle.

The customers verbatim will keep you on the pulse of what is occurring on your showroom floor as well as giving you and your team the opportunity to create more sales.

Here are the stats with an example of 100 customers...

20% Closing Ratio – Of 100 customer’s 20 Sold + 19 Unsold are sold = 39 Total Sold per 100 Customers

25% Closing Ratio – Of 100 customer’s 25 Sold + 18 Unsold are sold = 43 Total Sold per 100 Customers

30% Closing Ratio – Of 100 customer’s 30 Sold + 16 Unsold are sold = 46 Total Sold per 100 Customers

The above charts show that if you have closing ratios of 20%, 25% or even 30%, you can improve your sales by 17% to 19% at a minimum.
